Feedback session La Gadoue – Triptiek

Veerle on the road with her Triptiek-chairs.

The designers of La Gadoue and Triptiek, including their curtains and chairs, went out for feedback sessions last week, together with our partner Prospex Institute. They visited NNof, Othello Hotel Projects and Lulie Fisher Design Studio to gather all possible feedback about their product and to gather information about the design and interior design sector.

They received feedback about their design, but also about the materials used, the quality (e.g. the comfort of the chair), the asking price, and about the availability in large numbers.

Furthermore, NNof, Othello Hotel Projects and Lulie Fisher Design Studio shared a lot of useful information about how everything works in their sector. What is the procedure for tendering furniture for an office? When are hotels equipped with furniture or refurbished? And which team makes these decisions? Which factors are important in the choice they make? How do they look for original products? And does sustainability play a role? Which safety regulations must be complied with? What is currently going on in the sector, what can the designers respond to? E.g. the growing demand for a business model that also includes the return of the product after x-number of years.

The timing to see these three companies in close succession during one week was especially useful because they each play a different sector and could therefore share different experiences. Info that La Gadoue and Triptiek can take into account in their further market research.

Thank you to these three companies, who took the time to share their expertise and feedback:
